Cyndi Lauper was joined by Cher and Joni Mitchell for her final Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Farewell Tour show over the weekend.
After performing 69 gigs across the world over the past year, the legendary singer-songwriter wrapped up her final major concert tour at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on Saturday night.
During the gig, Cyndi invited Joni to join her onstage for a version of her 2000 song Carey.
The 81-year-old, who rarely makes public appearances, remained seated for the performance.
Elsewhere, John Legend offered up a rendition of 1983’s Time After Time and SZA duetted with Cyndi on her 1986 song True Colors.
And to conclude the star-studded spectacle, Cyndi was joined by Cher for an energetic performance of her 1983 single, Girls Just Want to Have Fun.
“This woman is one of the most famous modern artists of all, so there’s a new girl in town who wants to have some fun,” she exclaimed as the Believe hitmaker walked onto the stage.
Amid a fireworks display, Cyndi appeared to tear up as she thanked her dedicated fans for attending the concert.
“Goodnight, get safe home, take care of each other… love you guys,” the 72-year-old declared.
Previously, Cyndi clarified that she won’t be retiring after the tour concluded and will be open to doing occasional performances.
